Tiga diantaranya telah diuji coba ke manusia.<\/p>\n<p>Dilansir CNNIndonesia yang mengutip South China Morning Post, satu vaksin diuji klinis oleh perusahaan CanSino Biologics Inc dan Beijing Institute of Biotechnology.<\/p>\n<p>Berdasarkan dokumen WHO, dua vaksin lainnya diujikan pada manusia oleh produsen obat asal Amerika Serikat yaitu Moderna Inc dan Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc.<\/p>\n<p>Vaksin ini dikembangkan dengan kecepatan luar biasa di mana saat ini dunia tengah berpacu dengan waktu untuk melawan virus corona. Beberapa perusahaan obat juga meyakini dapat menyelesaikan pembuatan vaksin secepat mungkin. Biasanya pengembangan vaksin membutuhkan waktu sekitar 10 hingga 15 tahun lamanya.<\/p>\n<p>Direktur Jenderal WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus menyebut jika vaksin merupakan cara paling efektif untuk menghentikan penyebaran Covid-19 yang telah menewaskan lebih dari 119 ribu orang di seluruh dunia tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Virus mematikan ini sulit dihilangkan jika hanya mengandalkan tindakan pengendalian seperti menjaga jarak ataupun lockdown.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Keterhubungan global itu artinya meningkatkan risiko penularan dan kebangkitan Covid-19 akan terus berlanjut,&#8221; kata Ghebreyesus dalam briefing virtual dari Jenewa seperti dikutip dari AFP, Selasa (14\/4).<\/p>\n<p>Menurutnya, vaksi sangat diperlukan untuk menghentikan transmisi sepenuhnya.<\/p>\n<p>Data dari worldometers hingga saat ini terdapat 1.925.179 kasus positif corona dan 119.699 korban meninggal diseluruh dunia akibat virus corona.
