Melalui Dinnakerind Pemkab Demak masih melakukan study banding ke berbagai daerah, dari hasilnya sebagai pertimbangan untuk menentukan wilayah yang cocok untuk pembangunan KIHT di Kabupaten Demak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSemoga dengan kita memiliki KIHT, hasil tembakau lebih tinggi lagi dan mengurangi rokok ilegal. Kami juga berharap dengan hasil yang tinggi berefek juga bagi pembangunan di Kabupaten Demak pada khususnya,\u201dkata Bupati Demak Eisti\u2019anah, Selasa (12\/04\/22) saat talkshow dan podcast bersama Kepala Bea Cukai Semarang \u00a0Sucipto dari Ruang Commad Center yang disiarkan melalui youtobe Suara Kota Wali Channel, RMol TV, TV Desa, RSKW 104.8 FM dan Apps Suara Kota Wali.<\/p>\n<p>Bupati Eisti\u2019anah menyebutkan berbagai upaya telah dilakukan Pemkab Demak untuk mengurangi peredaran rokok ilegal diantaranya melakukan pengumpulan informasi barang kena cukai ilegal, sosialisasi melalui pagelaran wayang kulit, baliho maupun podcast interaktif.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut Eisti berpesan kepada seluruh masyarakat untuk berhenti mengkonsumsi rokok ilegal dan memilih mengkonsumsi rokok yang legal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKarena sebenarnya ini dari rakyat untuk rakyat. Artinya jika mengkonsumsi rokok legal dengan cukai resmi. Hasil penjualannya akan dikembalikan untuk masyarakat seperti BPJS Kesehatan dan bantuan langsung tunai bagi petani tembakau dan buruh rokok. Jadi untuk seluruh masyarakat tinggalkan rokok ilegal karena ini dari kita untuk kita,\u201dpungkasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara Kepala Bea Cukai Semarang Sucipto mengungkapkan bahwa penindakan rokok ilegal sangat sulit. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan jumlah sitaan rokok ilegal yang di dapat. Pada tahun 2020 didapati sekitar 4 juta batang rokok sedangkan di tahun 2021 sebanyak 7,2 juta batang rokok.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDengan peningkatan jumlah sitaan yang di dapat, itu menunjukkan betapa sulitnya untuk memberantas rokok ilegal. Bahkan jika dulu rokok ilegal hanya dijual dikampung-kampung, namun saat ini peredarannya juga merambah di perkotaan,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIni perlu menjadi perhatian kita bersama untuk mencegah peredaran rokok ilegal.
